Bishwa Acharya. Ph.D., PGS, PGISS, PPS

As President and CEO of Earth Mapping International (EMI) Inc., Dr. Acharya has supervised geospatial research and engineering projects covering several states (California, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, South Carolina, and Wisconsin).Bishwa Acharya. Ph.D., PGS, PGISS, PPS Before establishing EMI, he worked as Adjunct Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Technical Program Coordinator at the University of Georgia, and an Assistant Professor at Southern Polytechnic State University. He has supervised 100+ projects worldwide during the last 35+ years in the fields of geodesy: gravity surveys, geoid modeling, GPS-High Accuracy Reference Networks, first–second-third-fourth order geodetic networks, international boundary surveys; civil engineering: hydrologic modeling, water supply, irrigation, highway, power transmission line; geospatial technology: GIS, photogrammetry, remote sensing, LiDAR; project management, research, teaching, software development, proposal/report writing, and publications. Dr. Acharya served as Principal Investigator, Consultant, Advisor, Professor, Civil and Survey Engineer, Technical Leader-Border Commission, Chief Editor-Community News Letter, Editorial Board Member/Peer Reviewer-ASCE Civil Engineering Journals. His current focus is on infusing geospatial technologies for climate-change studies in collaboration with various universities and international business development in the same area. Dr. Acharya leads national/international and continental research projects in geodesy/GNSS/geoid modeling, remote sensing, GIS, cadastral surveys, and digital photogrammetry projects. He serves as the chairman of the board of directors.

 
 

David J. Campagna, Ph.D.

Dr. David J. Campagna has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, where he David J. Campagna, Ph.D. is renowned for linking technical and economic aspects of complex projects. He has worked globally in the USA, Canada, China, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Europe, India, and Southern Africa. Dr. Campagna worked for CNOOC International, Nexen, Advanced  Resources International, and Unocal Corporation and provided technical and management services as an independent consultant. He holds a Ph.D. in structural geology from Purdue University and has collaborated as a Visiting Scientist with the Rock Fracture Research Group at Stanford University. Dr. Campagna serves as Project Advisor and on EMI’s Advisory Board.
 

Suraj Shrestha, Ph.D.

Dr. Shrestha, with more than thirty years of experience in forestry research and international programs, coordinates Suraj Shrestha, Ph.D. applied research projects in the fields of impacts of climate change on vegetation, invasive species, habitat change and degradation, nutrient loading, overexploitation of resources or infrastructure development/landscape changes, and atmospheric and hydrologic pollution which are the threats to biodiversity. He received his Ph.D. in forest operation and sociology of natural environment from Auburn University, MS from Colorado State University in land use planning, BS from Indian Forestry College, and BSc in physical science from Tribhuwan University Nepal. His research interests include the impacts of climate change on biodiversity, landscapes, vegetation, REDD+, and adaptive forest management. Dr. Shrestha leads a team of research assistants/technicians in REDD+ and forestry business fields
 

Hem S. Bhandari, Ph.D.

Dr. Hem Bhandari serves as an expert on Agronomy specializing in crop breeding and genetics. He has served as Assistant Professor of Agronomy at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Post-Doctoral Research Scientist at Hem S. Bhandari, Ph.D. The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Ardmore, OK, Senior Scientist on rice and wheat research/team leader at Nepal Agriculture Research Council, Senior Scientist at rice breeding Agriculture Research Council Nepal, Research Scholar at International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), the Philippines, and Assistant Agronomist Department of Agriculture, Nepal. Dr. Bhandari received Ph.D. in Agronomy (alfalfa breeding and genetics) from New Mexico State University, NM, an M.S. in plant breeding from the University of Philippines, an M. S. in business administration, and a B. S. in agriculture from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. His research interests include crop genetic improvement for changing environments, drought tolerance, forage yield and quality, biomass and ethanol yield, and agronomic performance. Dr. Bhandari leads a team of research assistants/technicians in agronomy (crop management) and agribusiness.
 

Georges Bellangue, Ph.D.

Dr. Georges Bellangue is a senior Data Scientist at Earth Mapping International; his other assignments have been with the Georges Bellangue, Ph.D. Georgia Department of Education, AT&T, Scientific Atlanta, and Georgia Technology Authority. He received Ph.D. in Data Science from Northcentral University, a Master of Civil Engineering in water resources from Norwich University, a Master of Science in Telecommunication Networks from Strayer University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Georgia, USA. Dr. Bellangue leads the big data management team. His research interests include data science, big data for remote sensing, and cloud computing solutions. Gorges leads a team of IT professionals in big data architecture and cloud computing.
 

John Rutan, PE

Mr. Rutan is a professional engineer with over thirty years of experience providing services to individual-commercial, John Rutan, PE local-state-federal governments in infrastructure development and research projects. He has a strong background in stormwater management, county administration, research coordination, engineering-related artwork for trademarks, and field data collection. His professional engineering services are related to roadway design/general civil design/land development, site planning/assessment/design, and flood studies. Mr. Rutan provides a comprehensive spectrum of civil engineering services, from initial strategic planning, coordination, and consulting to final detailed design and value engineering and construction administration. He is experienced and an expert in providing project construction management and representation for projects of any magnitude. Mr. Rutan is particularly experienced in subdivision and site planning and design, design of roadway systems design, water sanitary and storm utilities, and stormwater management facilities and systems. He also has extensive experience in static and dynamic hydrology and hydraulic design and modeling. John leads a civil engineering/surveying technician team in field data collection, branding, and engineering data modeling.
 

Ashutosh Sharma

Ashutosh Sharma is a Senior Technology Analyst (Full Stack Developer) with experience developing and driving multiple Ashutosh Sharma large-scale web and mobile application projects. He has developed customer-facing user applications exclusively for Norfolk Sothern’s client. He has worked on gathering and reviewing requirements, designing, and developing database models, developing front-end UI and backend web services, and successfully leading multiple projects in his career. He has various experiences working with Agile and waterfall methodology while driving the sprint and the daily scrums. With his strong IT background, Ashutosh has understood and delivered the business with a high-quality product, contributing much more to the team.
